This is a bucket o' salt video, kids.
Having a good producer who actually does game work is monumentally helpful with making a great game demo. A really good producer is always worth the money. I can't tell you precisely what the going rate is, but it's likely to be less than $2K.
Your game demo can determine your receipt of auditions. The casting director can tell straight away what your range and style are.
If it's really good, it can get jobs handed to you.
Overproduced game demos are worthless to me as a casting person. I just want to hear the acting, not your studio's sound design. Many/most of the casting folks I know don't bother with demos at all, but they are usually going thru agencies.
Here in indieville, your Demo is a first audition, and lets me know you "get it". _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Which, for the record, I'm delighted to record that I don't. |
