				| So far, I know one person who has updated, and it's going okay. I haven't done it yet, because I haven't taken the time to survey enough pro/expert opinions to feel comfortable. _________________

				| My software provider issued this statement on their website:

  	  | Quote: | | Apple has released macOS® Mojave (version 10.14). MOTU has worked with Apple to ensure current MOTU products are compatible with macOS Mojave, and to provide a smooth transition for your MOTU products when you upgrade to macOS Mojave.
Current versions of all MOTU software products and hardware drivers available at motu.com/download (latest versions) appear to be compatible with Mojave, although final compatibility testing is still on-going.

In some cases, MOTU software updates may be available soon to achieve 100% compatibility. Check this web page for further announcements in the near future, if any.
 |

So yes, maybe, I can update my Mac.... or not....

BUT THEN I scrolled down the page and found this note:

  	  | Quote: | | If you own one of the USB-equipped MOTU audio or MIDI interfaces listed below, be sure to download and install the very latest shipping drivers. You must install these latest drivers before you can use your MOTU product listed below with Mojave. |

So, basically, if all else fails, read ALL the directions first, or call your provider.

				| I updated with no problems. Using UAD Apollo interface and Adobe Audition. Also updated to newest Audition CC, again all is well. _________________

Like most updates, it's essentially cosmetic. But damn if it doesn't look great (I'm talking both Mojave and Audition). I'm usually a "wait and see" type, but since a couple of techheads I trust updated to glowing reports, I threw caution to the wind (thankfully, it didn't smack me in the face).

				| Maybe I'll do the update then, Jack - you're the second person I know who uses the UA Apollo Twin and is working well on Mojave. That's the same interface I've got, so I feel better about it now. Thanks for posting. _________________

It's working flawlessly, Jen. On two computers I might add (both Mac--one is an iMac, the other a Macbook Pro). I have an Apollo 8, which is slightly different from the Twin, but I don't there is a meaningful difference in the way they operate.

				| For audio equipment and software, Sweetwater has a great resource page with statements from manufacturers and links the the relevant manufacturer page:
 https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/macos-10-14-mojave-compatibility/#List

Of particular concern to me is that Audient are in the process of testing and currently only certify up to 10.13.6 (High Sierra).

				| And some people (including me) thought there were several recording software and plugin companies. This list shows there are dozens!

				| Yamaha MG10XU, REAPER, and Source Connect all systems GO.
I love the dark interface, and stacks, etc.

Honestly, as a Windows user until early this year, it makes everything feel more like Windows in a good way. So it's the best of both worlds!

				| Thanks again Jack for giving me the courage to download Mojave.
Everything seems to be working correctly, especially Adobe Audition CS6, and TwistedWave, which are crucial to my work

Audio is running through the Apollo Twin. Haven't tried the iD22 yet, but hope that works as well.
