You'll need an additonal power supply with this model as it doesn't run on phantom power.

Would advise against the 416-T. Had probs with the adaptor with self-noise. |

The NTG3 has a bit too much at 100 Hz. So, use a 100 Hz HPF or notch that out and it sounds great! I have a 100 Hz EQ on my Yammy desk and that takes the boominess away. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

The 415T uses tuchel adapter and does use Phantom Power. The adapter runs about $ 50-70. George Whittam can get you set up.
I've used this setup for several years. My preamp has phantom. |
