So I am recording hundreds of audio files using audition, and at the beginning of each of them, I am able to hear the "up-click" of my record key. Is there a way to batch process these wav files so that the first .5 seconds or so of each wav is trimmed so that the button click is cut out?

First thought would be to move the record key further from pickup pattern of mic? Otherwise I'm no help as I've never used the batch feature on Audition.

I'd just set a gate above the click volume and batch process all of the files.
I don't know how you'd batch edit files, don't believe that's possible.

Here is my sugestion. Put markers starting with the begining of the recording, after that before and after clicks, so on and so on until the end of the file.
Then go in left part of the screen where it shows effects, next tab is Markers.
Select all markers, then above you will see icon that looks like rectangle with arrows, press it ,and after that go to file ,export, audio within the range markers. after 3 seconds you will have all files separated .Just delete those that are clicks and you are done.
Sorry for my bad English.
