Been having problem with any files playing or saved in OcenAudio adding some kind of distorted noise. Updated several times and the problems seem to persist. Any ideas?

System & Interface?
Does it make a difference if you play through speakers, monitors or headphones (or headphones plugged into computer vs. interface)?

I had the same issue on playback...I don't plan to use it so I didn't try to fix it. I'm on an iMac with 10.12.5.

No, although I didn't notice it at first on little PC speakers. I had opened a file in OcenAudio, made a small edit to the file, then saved and sent it to a regular client, who pointed it out the noise to me. Listened back on headphones and monitors, and sure enough distortion that was not in the original file.

In the past, OcenAudio was good about responding to questions, suggestions for features, etc. but on this particular matter, I've gotten no response.

I tried OcenAudio a couple of years ago and my computer audio was all glitchy until I uninstalled it.

If you need punch & roll capabilities, there is now a free extension for it for Audition, and I've switched to Reaper for only $225 one-time payment. You could easily spend $3-4k on Audition over the next decade! Smile
