It may not be as easy to answer as you think...well for me it isn't.

Nothing for me. To give? Thanks to VO work a Dad is able to give his children a Christmas and a family have a roof over their heads.

I do well.
Live simply.
Give freely.

That is the position I want to be in...I do ok for now, but I'm always wanting to do MORE for my new family. Newlywed thing I reckon.

To receive: A Triple-A Agent

To give: the assurance that your acting instincts are right when they are indeed right.

I would give the ability to share how words feel with others.

ALL work union? Where would that leave non-union folk? Then again, there wouldn't BE any of us left.

Well, let me clarify. You wouldn't be non union. You'd be union, as well as all of your work. Every job would pay towards retirement and health care. And a good percentage would pay thousands each month in residuals between sessions. This was the way vo was for most before the internet. Understand that for the union actor, it's not about how much a session fee pays. It's about the benefits that come with the session fee.

.....it's a pure fantasy. But the question was what my wish is, not if it could be granted. Wink

I understand now...that would be a perfect scenario. Those benefits would be nice.

I'd love to give the cease and desist papers to ALL p2p sites, and make VO about the artists, agents, producers, etc who makes the machine go.

Give a newbie all of my old stuff once I can afford to replace it, and show em how it all works.

Receive? Hmm...

A few bookings a year that I don't have to audition for, you heard me, you like me, so BOOK ME...that and to be the "voice of" something.

Receive: I'd be curious to try a Neumann mic and one of those Avalon analogue preamps.

Give: I used to work with a girl who was not only doing our 40+ hour a week job, but was also working part-time unloading trucks at UPS, AND going to school to become a nurse! On top of all of this, she found out she had endometriosis, which caused her to have stomach problems. I've always thought if I could really make it, it would be nice to give someone like that who was giving 210% some money to pay part of their tuition and maybe cover rent for a month or two.

I would give "Golden Throat" mouth & throat spay. Two quick sprays removes "clicks', "whistles", and other annoying mouth noises for up to one (1) hour.
