I booked a small/independent video game developer and don't know what to charge.
It's 75 noises/sounds along the lines of 'AH!' or 'WHOA!' and the like.
Any idea what the rate is on something like this?
I've done work with bigger developers but it was way more involved so I'm kind of blanking here.
Thanks

Indie rate is $200 per hour with a 2-hour minimum.

Thank you.
Where'd you get this rate?

+1 on Deidre's rate. That's what I get as a non union VG voice. Sometimes better if the budget is there.

It's what the directors are paying in LA for non-union game roles.

In San Francisco, it was $250 per hour a while back, I don't know if that has changed.

$100- $200 is normal for super-short 20-lines-or-less scripts.

Some companies pay per line. Going rate is $8 per. Can be anywhere from 4 lines to 30 lines. These tend to be good-guy foreign producers with eastern European point-and-click games consistently sending work to a handful of VOs.
