Hi all,
I'm looking for the best male British. South African and Neutral English Demos I can find to listen to for pointers and training mostly in narration, commercial and corporate, preferably without any added background effects or music etc.
Anyone have any pointers?

All input would be appreciated!

Ian, two British colleagues immediately come to mind: Peter Bishop and Philip Banks (sincerest apologies to anyone I've left out). I can't say whether any portion of their demos might be without backing music or FX, but both are marvelous to listen to.

"Neutral" is in the ear of the beholder. To a Brit it's a soft English accent without any unique regional pronunciations. Heck, that's the same concept for a "neutral" American accent. Head for you browser and enter:

British voice over, or South African voice over

And look for talent agencies or production houses that have rosters of talent. They usually have demos ready to listen to. If you want to hear American voices head for voicebank.net and click on Voice Over Talent Agency and you'll find hundreds of Yanks.

I am very grateful to both of you for taking the time to respond. Mike, I'll take a listen to the two people you've mentioned, including some of your demos.
Bruce, I really like your answer. I'm getting pretty tired of the term "neutral". I'm South African and have often been asked for neutral voice overs. What they want is a hint of Brit. I listen to many other SA vo's and they're mostly stereotypical SA accents. I guess it's all in the "ears" of potential customers wants! Smile

Adam Behr should be your front-runner for most prolific South African VOs. Fairly sure they hire him for his "mid-atlantic sound."
