Several of the participants in this video were featured recently on a special 2-part "Larry King Live". It presents a philosophical viewpoint which I believe but others might not. I hope you find this information beneficial.

It sounds like a re-mix of The Power of Positive Thinking. Not that there's anything wrong with thinking positively.
Most of us are provided with choices in life. If you have chosen a direction for your life to travel, the merits of that choice, is the result of you seeing your choice through to completion. Positive thinking can greatly affect our attitude towards a goal or project. But if you don't take the first step to accomplish that goal, all of your thoughts are in vain. If the effects of positive thing were a truism... all of the ghettos and hospitals would be empty.
(That's my $25k opinion.)

Jowillie, I'd never heard about Heather Vale. Thanks!
Bailey, I learned a lot about positive thinking while listening to Zig Ziglar and several others. The Secret goes way beyond that. The Secret talks about the The Laws of Attraction and the Power of Intention.
It's a bit wild to try and get ones mind around, but basically, we are what we think for better or worse.
One example I've seen often is about attracting prosperity or money. You can't attract money if you are always thinking about the lack of it. When we worry about bills and such, we are worrying about money and the universe responds by giving us more of what we are focusing our attention on . . . the lack of money!
I just tried to get to the video again and it's not available. They may have taken it down. If you were able to view it in it's entirety, I hope the ideas presented help.

The aspects of the Secret that you have shared, is contained in New Thought teachings... not to be confused with New Age religions.
With that being said, I am remembering two of Deirdre's rules of order in this forum. Avoid politics and religion. Debates and differences of opinion regarding those two subjects have never led to a common agreement, except that both parties agree to differ.

Bailey, some of the ideas and thinking behind The Secret could be considered controversial. In my humble opinion, The Secret has nothing to do with either politics or religion.
That being said, I agree to disagree with any who wish it.
