And now, in beta, you can call ISDN lines included in the paid "Tel" service of ipDTL. ISDN lines can't call ipDTL, but they say they're working on it.

I'm very excited about this. I can't get ISDN where I am so I'm hoping time will bring more studios over to newer services like this in lieu of a physical line.

That is quite interesting. $15 a month is not terrible for your own ISDN bridging capability Smile Still in Beta, but that really could be a solid solution. Studios could still use their hardware while testing a service that they could transition to. Very interesting indeed.

Call me Mr. Buzzkill but there will probably be some studios who will still prefer a direct, physical ISDN connection on both ends.......

....... but other than that this is potentially very exciting news!

Well if studios dialing you is on the horizon no one will ever have to know. The app has the ability to run the settings for specific codecs so if asked, here are my SPIDS and I'm running a Zephyr compatible box. Smile
