|
As I always draft questions of my guests prior to each podcast, I reserve a section for listener questions. So, if anyone has any general questions for the guests, please feel free to submit them to me by posting them here.
If you have any guest-specific questions, below is a partial upcoming roster for November: (more to be added)
Greg Cipes
Thom Adcox
Ginny McSwain (Voice Director)
Thanks for the support! I hope you all find the podcast informative and entertaining. Oh, and spread the word!

Avi,
I regret that I didn't get any questions to you more quickly, but here are a few for the future:
1. What triggers a new character for you? Images? Sounds? Clues at the audition? Anything specific?
2. How do you deal with rejection?
3. Is it ever "just a funny voice" and not a full-fledged character?
When I think of more, I'll post them. Meanwhile, I hope these help. _________________ Be well,

Thanks for the questions!
Considering the podcast roster just inflated by about 6 guests, I'm scrambling to try and come up with questions for them all.
Among the guests is Adam Wylie, who currently plays Braniac5 on the new Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon airing on KidsWB! If anyone has questions for Adam, I need them urgently.
Thanks!

Hey Avi-- know what would be helpful?
if you had links to these guys' websites in these messages.
Not everyone is watching cartoons (as much as we are) and may not know the names of these folks right off the bat, but would recognize their other work. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Last chance on Greg Cipes! (we record his podcast tomorrow) Any questions for the voice of Beast Boy on Teen Titans?
Be sure to check out his website:

Thanks!

Avi,
Although it wasn't a voiceover job, I'd love to hear about his preparation for his guest shot on the HBO series Deadwood.
Also, how does he prepare to play such a young teenager in the role of Beast Boy (my kids and I love that show!) and does he ever have a hard time holding himself together during the really funny bits? _________________ Be well,

Well, the deed is done. It was really cool chatting with Greg, and both of us thank everyone for their input and questions.
Incidentally, Greg's got an amazing band called Cipes and the People. Their website is still just starting, but their first song 'Fade Away' is an amazing mix of reggae and hip-hop with a positive vibe to it. We'll be playing (premiering?) it on the podcast in 2 weeks, so be sure to check it out!
The band's website, so you can at least bookmark it for now, if you like, is:
www.cipesandthepeople.com
My next two guests are Charlie Adler and Adam Wylie. Feel free to post up more questions if you have them.
Thanks again!

This week's guest is Charlie Adler, who has made his mark both as a voice-actor and a voice director. The recording session is this Wednesday, November 22nd, so if anyone has any specific questions for Charlie, please let me know before then.
Thanks!
