I have certainly found it to be true in past endeavours. |

My husband teaches drawing and watercolor. He has said, as long as I have known him, that "Urgency trumps natural abilty". _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Easy for you to say but it's Monday and nothing ever happens on Mondays!
This was my Monday -
1 - Radio campaign for Mitsubishi Car dealership
2 - " " restaurant chain in the UAE
3 - Corporate for a company making treadmills for horses
4 - TV commercials Race course, horse racing. Bizarre coincidence
5 - Radio Campaign up market Indian restaurant
6 - " " Marble tile, fireplace and work top shop - sorry, design studio
7 - Radio campaign Police "Be seen, be safe"
8 - Elearning module narration for a pharmaceutical company.
9 - DVD narration safety policies for a city council
10- TV campaign BMW
Went to Tesco and bought lots of yummy tuck, cooked the evening meal, played my trumpet.
You see the trouble with Mondays? Nothing to do and all day to do it.
Next on the agenda "Spooks" on BBC1 a drama about MI5. |

Let me know if you need any help with those Monday doldrums Banksey, I'd be more than happy to give you a hand (or voice) to help you out.
P.S., I played trumpet in school though I haven't picked it up in many moons. _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |

My Monday was mega-suck, too.
Phone message for Connecticut Light and Power's tranmission changeover call-out.
Internal phone messages for the human resources arm of Northeast Utilities.
A call this morning to see if I could do a spot for The Hope Animal Foundation at 2. Yes, I could.
A spot at 3pm for a shopping center in Southern Cal.
On the air now.
Not quite as busy as Banksey, but I did manage to balance my checkbook and work on Younger Bear's Halloween costume.
Joe, the object here is that when you're doing work you love, the hard work IS fun.
If it gets easy, complacency is lurking.
One of my students asked me this weekend what kind of hours a VO person works. I said, "If you're real successful, it's 14 hours a day, 7 days a week." _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Play time can be fun too. The next boys night out is scheduled for Saturday 11th November. Blue Moon Indian restaurant, Aberdeen. The finest cuisine, nice wine and beer. Philip Banks, voice over of Portgordon and Richard Greenwood, voice over of Clochan will be joined by a team of people who make TV commercials. The evening will appear on my tax return under "miscellaneous". |
