That bombing sound was a "blast" from the past....Toronto's own....she's the first person I ever saw to the nose ring chain thing....thought it looked painful unattractive and fraught with peril.
But I did like that "I don't want to fall in love" cut, which I rarely ever hear and am pleasantly bopping to know while editing some MOH.
Maybe she's MIA due to complications from the nose chain? Oh I'll probably get in trouble for that.....
PS check with Elaine as she calls TO home....there's a chance the local media has done some "where are they now" thing....just a guess.

| VH1 did something on her last year (I think). She's still around doing her own music. She had a CD released last year too. I haven't heard any cuts from it, but like Peter, I do like the "Don't Wanna Fall In Love" from the "Welcome To The Real World" CD (summer of 1990?) |

Well I gotta confess I'm ignorant when it comes to Jane Child - never heard of her before tonight. I just got back to Canada after many years abroad around the time she seems to have disappeared from the music scene (from what I gather from my Google searches). Sorry I can't be of any help.

Yeah when I first saw her I was floored!! the other person that left an impression was David Bowe..there was this video where half of his face was painted black..I dont know what it was but mand I just LOVED it...now little ole teen conservative me..the worst I ever got was wearing tank tops and long shirts like Steve Perry of Journey.
My daughter on the other hand...we should buy stock in Electric blue, purple, green hairdye..... |
