Don't be jealous. It serves no purpose but to misguide your own energy.
Understand the laws of abundance: the more work we find —and the better we do at it, the more work there is for everyone.
Belief in a finite amount of VO work is a mistake. Let others' success bolster your progress. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Thanks, Everyone.
I did the session today and it was so much fun. In and out in 20 mins. Very fun. _________________ Joni Lambert

Nice! It's very cool when you can "sail thru" a session like that.
Your place or at a studio?
I've always done mine isdn or patch. I'd love to do a regular studio session someday as a vo...only expereinced that "vibe" as a musician. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

It was at a local studio via their ISDN line. What was great, too, is that it gave me an opportunity to build a relationship with this local studio. They asked for my demo (which I, of course, had with me) and they said they do tons of VO work and would be happy to have a 'local girl'. _________________ Joni Lambert

Joni,
Good for you! And way to be prepared. Excellent news all around. Congratulations again. _________________ Be well,

Congrats Joni!!
Can't tell you the number of times I thought I'd sucked at an audition and got the job -- and thought I'd aced it, especially by the producer's reaction, and then no call... Just goes to show "ya never know"...
Still get a thrill when I hear my spots. And hubby... last week one of my spots came on Court TV while I was wallpapering the bathroom and with the noises he started making I thought he was having a heart attack. He was trying to hit the volume control and couldn't find the right button on the remote (wearing headphones -- which has saved our sanity here in the house with my home studio and all.)
I hope I never lose that giddy glee when I hear a spot I've done. _________________ Blue skies -- Lauren Lee

Thank you Dierdre. I am not really jealous, jealous, only jealous but I am trying to keep my energy flowing in the right direction so that the law of attraction brings to me all the success I am capable of attracting.
Here is something you may find interesting. It's called The Secret also available here _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |
