My commercial demo was produced in 2009. It's opened several doors, for which I'm very grateful, but I have a growing concern about it: the demo opens with two spots that refer to products/events from 2010. Until I can afford to get a new demo produced, I'm concerned that a demo that screams, "I'm an old demo!" could actually turn some folks off.
In an attempt to remedy this, I took a snippet from one of my few commercial gigs and dropped it in to replace those dated spots. Here's a link to the new edit:

Am I freaking out over nothing with the whole date thing, or is this really a good idea? If it's a good idea, how does the new edit sound from a technical standpoint? Is the placement of that spot at the head of the demo working well, or would it be better placed elsewhere? _________________ Justin S. Barrett
