Trish Basanyi and I were planning on having a meeting today about this very subject! It would seem that Erik is not going to host a VO Mixer in neither NY nor LA. I suggested a VTP roster-only party if he wanted to do something on a smaller scale but I don't think that's going to happen, either. We were thinking of reserving a space at either Hurley's or Mustang Harry's (just like Lee suggested) but if Sir Banksey is going to lead the charge then that would be great!

Um, I'm pretty sure that Diane meant to write "in SOUTH Florida." Wink

Actually, there's some talk about doing just that in late Jan./early Feb. of 2014. So folks will have the chance to "UN-winter" in Miami.

Yep, I spoke to Erik and there's no plan to do any mixers.

I'm probably going to do my usual Chippendales/ Cirque du Soleil backyard crawfish boil and oyster bar for the kids at the local orphanage and a few homeless voice talent.

If you plan to be around San Francisco, you can come if you bring beer. Call me.

OMG. How I would LOVE to get some sun as a break from our 10-month-long, soggy, chilly falltobermas-plus-extended-spring-with-extra-bonus-months. Shocked

I'm skeptical whether I could really do it, but I would for d*** sure give it some serious thought!

Hurrah! It looks like Christmas has been saved! Although not on the scale of the previous five NY Mixers, it appears there will at least be a "mini-mixer" in NY on the first Saturday in December, after all.

And by the way, has anybody seen Philip lately? He's been eerily silent around here in recent weeks.

Oh, how I wish I could plan to be there, but instead I'm going to be driving home from Nebraska that weekend after we have spent a couple of days as a family at Eric's college attending a Christmas concert he is singing in. <sigh> Wishing I could be in more than one place at a time.

As long as your going to be in the neighborhood we can have our own meet up Bob!

Timothy,

Sounds like a plan. My son Eric attends Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska which is 20 minutes west and slightly north of Lincoln. We won't have a ton of free time, but let me know what the first full weekend in December looks like for you and we'll see if we can make something happen.

Lee, I noticed the same thing and gave Philip a shout. He seems well, and says that he has been very busy with work lately. Smile

Party?

Oh I think I could be convinced to spend some additional time in NYC for something like this.
