The gentle slope of a well placed bass roll-off really helps. You can always contour the bass to suit and EQ in some "air" at the top. Anyway, this 875R still is a real dark-horse winner, IMHO. And Chris Currier, if you are reading this, we're very glad you are feeling better and I do STILL love Neumann mics Smile
