Spoke to Thomas (aka Mr. Twisted Wave) about my problem..... tons of crashing while I'm saving files. He says I need to update my ProTools drivers....

"Even if the mbox is not plugged in when you use TwistedWave, it seems
the drivers are still loaded, and I can see them in the crash report.
Although I may be wrong, and the crashes could be caused by something
else, I have often heard of problems with these drivers, and I think
you should check and see if there is an update available for you
there:
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/download/en379411
According to the crash report, the version of the drivers you are
using is 8.0.3."

My Mac computer is running 10.7.5 and says my PT software is up to date....
Suggestions?

Thanks!

Debbie,

Possibly there are still some bits left over from a previous version of Pro Tools that didn't get cleaned up when you upgraded?

Never hurts to Repair Disk Permissions using Disk Utility.

PT 8 is not OS 10.7.5 compatible, first of all, so your driver want be, either ...
Do a clean un install of PT then install the stand alone core audio drivers for your Mbox.
