While digging around the Voxengo website I discovered this gem, the Voxformer.

OK, I always say I use the included AU plugins exclusively, but this might be the first processing combo plug to change my mind!

A quick-n-dirty before/after test, taken from a client's sample using an MXL MicMate Pro and SP C3.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ehkc61nd2wfev3z/Voxengo_VoxFormer-test.mp3

Features:

     Two built-in vocal compressors
     Two-band compressor operation
     Asymmetric compression
     5-band parametric equalizer
     Real-time FFT spectrum analyzer
     Noise gate (de-breath) module
     De-esser module
     Presence boosting module
 Saturation module with 4 modes
     Residue listening mode
     Stereo and multi-channel processing
     Internal channel routing
     Channel grouping
     Mid/side processing
     Up to 8x oversampling
     64-bit floating point processing
     Preset manager
     Undo/redo history
     A/B comparisons
     Contextual hint messages
     Zero processing latency

Pros:
    $60 (with discount)
    Fully functional demo
    Pretty
    Nice interface
Can monitor every single section individually
Tons of presets to help get started
    De-breath noise gate works nicely
Saturation tool gives "tube sound" without the tube hassle
DC Filter if you have that sort of issue

Cons:
    A tad complicated for some
    A tad simple for others
    No range control on gate
No maximum output setting (still need to Normalize post processing if you want to always hit -3dB, for example)

Thanks for this write up, George.

I've played with Izotope's Ozone and Nectar offerings and a few others, but in the end, have wound up preferring individual plug-ins. I'll give it a shot!

Yes, I'm tempted to look at this again...for their free plugs, the Span is a great tool and the tube emulator is excellent.

The Voxengo stuff is nice... the Elephant is the Waves L2 equivalent and its great..

The is similiar to the Waves RenVox, but with the convenience of EQ added, and also very customizable.. Thanks for the heads up!!
