Unfortunately, the aggregate thing didn't work. I did end up contacting SC last night (Rebekah responded). Tried setting the sample rate to 48000 per her suggestion, but no luck.
I did find another USB mic that I had forgotten I had (not sure how I forgot, but...) and that works fine (M-Audio Producer). So it just appears to be something with the AT2020. Rebekah said they have a new version of Source-Connect 3.7 due out shortly and she would try to get me early access to see if they have fixed it in the new version.
I'm relieved that it's at least narrowed down to that particular mic (as a troubleshooter in my previous life, I find a geeky amount of joy in narrowing down an issue...lol!)
