Hi there Moe. Thanks! I happen to be a nightowl of epic proportions. Given the time difference though with folks in the US, best I leave at least a little light on for the next shift. _________________ www.grantcyster.com

Hi Corey. Thanks!
By the way...checked out your video about advice to VO wannabes a couple of nights ago. Good stuff there. One thing that came to mind while listening was that while people telling you that you have a great voice is certainly no guarantee of success in the industry, by no means, it MAY well be evidence of some degree of raw talent. Of course, it's up to the individual in question to develop their craft and put in the work.
Thanks for your time and effort in putting that vid out there. _________________ www.grantcyster.com

It's a fair point. The takeaway I wanted people to have is that "good voice" is something a very large number of people have. The ability to use whatever voice you have is the most critical bit. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

Completely agree. Looks to me like we're saying the same thing in different ways. Just a humble observation here from one of them wannabes. _________________ www.grantcyster.com

Hi Grant, welcome to the board. I have the V88 in my locker and it gets pulled out quite often. I have no experience with the B1, so I can't offer you a comparison, but if you pay attention to mic placement offsets (both vert & horiz), the V88 is a very serviceable mic.
Cheers

Hi Liz! Thanks. The coffee is gooood! I'm buzzing from my third cup. Cappucino actually. *note to self, I've got to cut down on this flippin' caffiene!*
Thank you Fran! I'm feeling very welcome so far.
Chuck...hi there, and graci very much!
Hello there Philip...thanks a lot! Glad to be here.
Hello Peter, and thank you also! I've ordered my V88, and I'm confident that I'll get some great mileage out of it. I have my demo script and music ready to go. _________________ www.grantcyster.com

Sorry new guy Karl - you've been pounced from your perch. Looks like Grant's the new guy now. Bright spot for you is he takes over llama duty.
Hear that Grant? And don't forget the chocolate.
Welcome aboard - glad to meet you! |

Oops! I did not mean to pounce on anyone. Hmmm...what is llama duty, pray tell?
