Hi there,
Had two town names pop up today in my endless list of eye docs, dentists and lawyers...both towns in PA.
Wyncote
Feasterville Travose

Per several real estate videos on Youtube:
Wyncote = WIN-coat
I don't know about the second one. |

Tried looking up Feasterville Trevose and it seems to be "tree-vose".
Vose rhymes with hose. |

My suggestion for local street and town names, etc. is to place a call to the town or county library. These folks are always eager to help and it probably isn't too often they get calls from glamorous voice actors researching their roles. You might just make their day. _________________ Mike

Yeah - sometimes I do that, or I call the phone number in the listing I am reading - and what has happened more times than should probably happen is that the number isn't right. And in those cases, I send the prompt back to the main company I am working for to look into it. But with hundreds of them every month, that kind of quality control has to come from them. The town names are actually a LOT easier than the proper names - OMG! We live in such a melting pot. _________________ Playing for a living...

Reminds me of a Pennsylvania town I encountered many years ago: Juneau. The Alaskans pronounce theirs "JOO-no", while the Penn peeps pronounce theirs "ja-NOO". _________________ Justin S. Barrett
