As has been stated by almost all, they all are good pre's and sound good, but I agree with Johnny, 'smooth' is the Martech's middle name. |

Thanks, guys! I agree...the MSS-10 is smoother and clearer! But is the degree of improvement worth $2000? Is it a game-changer? Maybe, maybe not. And, at present, I think it's revealing too much of the small room.
I'll be working on upgrading room treatment with denser fiberglass. But not sure I'll be keeping the MSS-10 long enough to test it again. _________________ www.chriskoprowski.com/en |

No piece of gear is a "game changer". Spend the money you need on a credible mic, a well treated room and then get on with earning money.
Caveat - If VO work and the gear associated therewith is merely a hobby the above does not apply.
(I spotted a typo)
