Back in college on our dorm room doors we posted all the rejection notices from various companies to which we had applied for jobs. You might try that for levity. And I'll bet you won't have many to post!!
Good doG, applying for jobs, various companies, rejection. Shudder......... _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

Hey, the fact that they actually bothered to send it puts them ahead of some outfits.
It will happen eventually. Also, having an agent is good, but there's work out there to be had without one...as I'm sure you well know.
It's really subjective. One agency will say you're great but they just don't have room, another will say you're great but they've got too many similar talents, another you'll never hear back from at all, yet another will tell you you're not ready. (Ignore those. ) Keep doing what you do, and it'll happen when it happens. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

Tom,
It's been suggested here before, but i have to give credit to Brian in Charlotte for reminding me of this resource (you may already know it): go to http://www.voicebank.com/default.jsp?ptype=reels. Union and non-union agencies are all listed there; submit a brief query letter asking if they're accepting materials for consideration (or however you choose to word it). Brian reports that he's gotten two agents from this method, and I can now say it's worked for me as well. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.
