Hello, lovely voice over peoples.
I'm going to be in Seattle on holiday from the 30th of August to the 10th of September - heading over from sunny Australia for the Penny Arcade Expo (http://www.paxsite.com/paxprime/)
Would anyone have a recommendation for a Seattle-based voice coach who might be willing to one (or several) one on one coaching sessions?
Would love to get some coaching while I'm over on holidays if I can, given the chance to connect with people I wouldn't be able to deal with face to face otherwise.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions, and have a great day!
(edited to make the PAX site link an actual link) _________________ http://kevinpowe.com

I might have someone for you, gimme a day or two.
There seems to be a real shortage of voice acting teachers in the Seattle area. At least voice coaches who don't try to shill their demo-creation services along with it.... _________________ Jeff

Thanks muchly, Jeffrey!
I hear where you're coming from about people dropping "...and you'll get a demo out of it" at the end of coaching/seminar services, as well.
I'm sure there are times where it's a great part of the service, but one of the good things I've gotten from listening to Michael Minetree's podcast is a healthy level of scepticism about the value of it as a business practice.
Looking forward to checking out your comic from a non-horribly-slow-work-internet-link, too! Loved the couple I checked out so far. _________________ http://kevinpowe.com
