I posted on my blog today about what painting and the professional vo have in common.
No, I'm not trying to pump my blog. I composed a pic for that post that tickles me and I wanted to share it with my VO friends, especially those of you that also pursue photography as a hobby:

It's "Conceptual Art", that's art where the viewers bring the concept with them. |

Lol, nice Philip. It's a little strange I know.
Thanks Todd.
What I really wanted to do was dip a mic in the paint and make it a brush but I'm not rich enough to destroy my 416 that way. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Nice. Did you use a shadow box? _________________ Elaine

Brian,
Maybe you can use Philip's 416. I believe I heard him say once:
"as a quality mic, the 416 makes a wonderful stir stick".
Also, love the cans on the can.

Elaine,
I was about to say no but I kind of did. It's in my new booth before I painted it green. I laid down a canvas drop cloth against the white wall then lit it from the left side with a fluorescent light and bounced a flash off the ceiling. So I guess I used the booth itself as a giant shadow box.
lol at Roger. how about it Philip? Want to mail yours over? _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog
