I don't qualify, either!

I got it earlier today. Started to fill it out, but got the same impression that Philip mentioned. Too P2P-centric to be "a study of the Voiceover industry". Beleted!

I wonder if anyone received this email who is not on a P2P site.

Screw the survey. Let's go to a movie.

My thought precisely. I didn't get one. I do have profiles on two pee-2-pee sites, but I'm not a paid subscriber.

I see a trend as well.

I was going to delete it, and did a WHOIS just to make sure it wasn't some sort of data miner (tho it really is) but thought about it and realized someone wants my opinion, for whatever reason, and that's something I've never shied away from, so I went ahead both barrels. A teeny bit of ok, and mostly pbbbbbt. Realized this just after I was on the last of 2 pages and in the field How much do you book in a month from this site? and I put "0" for both of them...wakeup time. I also made sure this Augie and his "seekers" knew how I felt about VOs being treated like schoolkids on forums that weren't already shut down, and their rates being eroded.

For my money, my favorite Augie is Augie Meyer, pioneering keyboardist from the Sir Douglas Quintet.

For what it's worth, I have my Voice123 communications sent to a different e-mail address than any other P2P site uses. I got the Focus 25 e-mail today and it was not sent to the address Voice123 uses.

FWIW, I got it, and I don't belong to any of the P2P sites.

Having said that, I'll say this -- if the surveyors think my opinion about what's going on in the VO biz is more important than, say, Bob Souer's or DB Cooper's, I pity their process. And wouldn't put much stock in their results. Wink

I finally get a VO email... and now the general consensus is to delete it.

Shows where my mind is... I went with Augie Doggie.

I didn't get it either, but I'm not a paying member of any of the P2P sites. I did go look at it via the link, though. Gag.

I didn't get it either but from what I'm reading here it sounds like Mike and Mandy summed it up.
