Just finished a session, 10 second TV commercial. During playback of one of my takes someone from another studio at the facilities house walked into the studio being used by the ad agency.

"Has he got a slight catch in his voice?" whispered the visitor to my director.

"Diane's just walked in and is critcising your work" said Dave the engineer.

"It wasn't a criticism" protested Diane. Close mic'd intimate tones filled the studio monitors.

"I think it was ....." said Banks.

I heard two things, loud laughter and the even louder sound of Diane blushing. First time for everything and today was the first time I've ever heard a blush.
