This tagging system is bs. I do think there's the opportunity for sabotage.
youthful, rookie, intense, bright
Yyyyyyyeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhh... I'm a rookie alright... who books national spots. Whatever.
And Todd, I do book on V123 more than I do on voices... somewhat regularly. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

Caryn, you can delete the silly tags as I did. It is amazing your booking that much from that site. But considering your talent and skills you should get noticed. Good luck.
Jeff, the producer (I hate the dorky term "seeker" and refuse to use it) types often post jobs in more than one place. Maybe because they get so many auditions of poor quality. That is why someone like Caryn stands out from the croud. We all need a way to diferentiate ourselves. _________________ Gregory Best

I got curious and had to get a password reminder and in the end I wasn't disappointed: "Your" "voice" "has" "not" "been" "tagged" "yet". NICE! At least there is a a not between has and been. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

I don't think "rookie" was meant to be a slam against you. I think it's just another word for young-sounding. _________________ Jeff

Greg, they have been deleted!
Oh Moe, you're SO not a rookie!!!!
Jeff, hmmm... I think I will have to respectfully disagree with you. I wouldn't tag someone's demo (btw, I never tagged ANY demos b/c I didn't like the idea) with "rookie" and expect them to get more work by using that term. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

It's all so silly. There are probably only a handful of words anyone would ever search by anyway, and they're the common generic terms -- natural, warm, friendly, etc. I don't think too many will consult a thesaurus looking for just the right word for the voice they want -- half the time they wouldn't even know. _________________ Diane

Here are my tags:
fatherly
in tuned (whatever than means)
fun
touching
friendly
tender
I put up with the annoyances on voice 123
it's worth the trouble because more than a few people have found me on the site -- some who have become regular clients. (same on voices.com).
Beyond the auditions I have booked. _________________ http://MichaelSchoen.com |

I'm no longer on V123, but I had to check out the feature. "fun, quirky and over-the-top" Maybe I should become a prop comic. _________________ http://www.jameslorenz.com/notjustvoiceover |
