VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

My family and I had a delightful time sharing a meal today with Ron Harper, who is a member of the VO-BB living near Cincinnati that I've never been able to visit with in person before.

Ron Harper with Eric, David, Brian, Cinda and me. (It's hard to tell, but Eric and I are wearing VO-BB t-shirts for the occasion.) It was a very fun lunch at Max and Erma's, a chain of restaurants that started in Ohio and which has been one of our favorites since we first discovered them when we lived in Pittsburgh.

Tomorrow, we're making a stop in Dayton shortly after Noon and then later in the day south of Akron for more visits with friends. I'll post pictures as I can. My thanks to Ron for making time to visit today. I look forward to the next time.

We had a really wonderful Sunday dinner with Dan Nachtrab and most of his family today near Dan's home in Dayton, OH.

Niki, Dan and Cara, Bob, Eric, Brian and Cinda (from left to right) after the meal. My middle son David volunteered to be the photographer, thus he's the one not in the photo.

(Edited to add:) Cinda reminded me to tell this quick story on myself. While at the restaurant I'd posted an update to my Facebook status via my phone. "Cheesecake Factory with my friend Dan. Triple Yum!" After thinking about it for a moment, I updated my status again with "The cheesecake, not Dan."

Had a great time, Bob. We truly enjoyed meeting Cinda. She is an absolute delight! Niki kept asking me how you two had raised such well behaved young men. Odd she never asked my mom that question...
