Prices on hard drives are dropping about as fast as the stock market did earlier this year. My jaw drops at the prices every time I go down the computer aisle at Costco.

What comes after terabyte? We'll have to know one of days soon, won't we?

One of the radiostations I'm involved with also runs a tv station... they just ordered half a petabyte of harddrives in 19 inch racks... that's 500 Tb (gulp!) They'll be using that to replace videotape machines and playout of commercials.
