VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

As you are aware I am afflicted with Stage III Sub-tropical Eurasian Wild Gibbon Banana influenza EbA1 with contrafibularities which has proved progressive up until today and will be regressive from tomorrow.

I knew it was borderline terminal yesterday morning when Elly our cleaner arrived.

""Morni .....................BLOODY HELL YOU LOOK AWFUL!!"

"Thank goodness for that" I responded "I'd hate to feel as I do and look fabby". Elly thought for a moment.

"Awww honey! Do you want a cuddle?" For all of you who can do the British accent you need your best Nottingham accent for Elly's voice. I Smiled politely as I was hugged or cuddled for a while. Felt better but not really well enough to work. Managed to send jobs in the direction of some other VOs leaving me 2 that I couldn't really duck. Took my time and got through them.

Today I was up at stupid o'clock as I was unable to sleep. Have been sort of bumbling and bashing through the day.

Around 4pm following a late lunch Mattie arrived. I was in the kitchen tidying.

"Ooo you really don't look good!" she cried, sounding genuinely concenrned. "Haven't seen you for ages. Do I get a proper cuddle?" (Hertford accent please)I didn't answer but then I wasn't really being asked anything. Mattie's cuddles are gold standard

So my conclusion. Never underestimate the healing powers of a mega-cuddle. Stage IV Sub-tropical Eurasian Wild Gibbon Banana influenza EbA1 with contrafibularities is departing as I type.

fortunately for my career (so far), my clients don't give a flip how i look as long as it isn't how i sound.

mind you, i wouldn't turn down a good cuddle from the right sources.

No doubt the cuddles helped. I remember reading that we need a certain number per day for maintenance, & even more for healing. I hope you feel better very soon, Banksey.

Today I experienced something unusual - while not actually a cuddle - I arrived in my driveway this afternoon on my bike at the same time THREE of my immediate neighbors were arriving on the same sidewalk within speaking distance of each other. I cannot remember when 4 of us were in the same space at the same time. It may be time to throw a BBQ for my neighbors...

Cuddles are the best medicine! Spent the better part of last night cuddling my 12 year old son on the couch watching craptastic tv shows. I'm very blessed that all three of my kids (including the 22 year old) appreciate a good mom cuddle!

It was merely a turbo charged cold which left me exhausted after reading a newspaper. Residue is I could sleep for a month and have a really annoying cough.
