Under a year old in perfect condition. Will ship in the original boxes. I upgraded o the HS 80Ms which is why I'm selling these, but the 50M's have served me very well. They are perfect for desktop monitoring.
$300 OBO + shipping.
Email or PM if interested...

I also have the 50Ms and I would only sell them to upgrade to the 80Ms. Great speakers...excellent for VO because they don't hype the low end and are very detailed in the high and mids. You can really tell where you are with these. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

I really like them too, Lance. Both versions. I've had Dynaudio BM5A's and have a set of Blue Sky Sky System One's, and I MUCH prefer the Yamaha's. _________________ Josh Mahler

Do you happen to know what the frequency response is? I've been wanting a pair of monitors, but I'll also be using them for theatrical sound design, and on one occasion I found that I needed to hear things down to at least 60Hz, preferably lower. I found that many monitors in my price range don't have good response that low.
Thanks,

55Hz-20kHz. How much you hear in the low end is really going to depend on your room and speaker placement though. If you really need to critically hear under 60hz, a sub with these or the 8" version might be better. While I could hear under 60hz with the 50m's, it wasn't enough for my taste for imaging prod.
Do you have a Guitar Center close? Maybe go listen to each monitor. Although that is not always a great option because some stores have their monitors set up really bad, in bad rooms. When I went yesterday, the balance of all the monitors was way off and there was some serious comb filtering going on. Not only that, I noticed they had a clandestine sub running which could trick you into thinking smaller speaker had enough low end. Sneaky suckers! lol
Here are some reviews from people who bought them...

Thanks, that would probably work. Now I'll just have to look at the budget. If it fits in, I'll PM you. Don't pass up an offer on my account!
Thanks,
