Have to agree with you all. An MKH416 would be ideal. The preamp I can get myself: from what I've read the Focusrite 2i2 goes well with the 416 and it's reasonably priced. |

Thanks for the reply Peter. I'd probably be keener on corporate, elearning, and documentaries rather than audiobooks. At 6'7, spending too long in the booth might be bad for my back!  |
