There are over 1,189 Voices-Over Artist in the United States.

Sounds about right for the number of guitar pickers in Nashville.

Irregardless, I think the tlm 102 works quite well for you. So well in fact that I now hold my 102 in a higher regard, as in "it's not the mic, it's me".

Maybe find an older (V3.0) of adobe audition?... A standalone program with no monthly subscription fees.

I have no idea how it works with a mac, but it plays well with Win 10, 64 bit and is seeming ...

As an aside, I believe the capsule is located about midway down the length of the barrel, placing it 5-6 inches away from the end you speak into.

I used my 416 for one audiobook and would not use it again... (or do another audio book heh heh)

Too much time spend correcting for sibilance and overall just a "bright" sound ...

I use a Heil/Luxo arm with a 2-pound ankle weight wrapped around it at the mic end.


And I have a (color matched) metal bar zip-tied on mine to add that weight/balance cool

LUXO makes one that has no exposed springs. Attractive and modern appearance. The 416 is so lightweight mounted on this arm it's kinda like the tail wagging the dog. Very sturdy product.

I'm just a drop in the bucket compared to youse guys. But sheesh, I like mics.

Standard fave is my 416. Also have the ME66. As mentioned earlier it's a bit bass light. The 416 is very adaptable ...
