I think that most options these days are great for VO, and the options are huge. Probably comes down to the connectivity you need. For me, I use an SPL Creon which aren't available anymore...pity, but ...

Upgraded last Friday from Mavericks to Sierra and was with no hitches whatsoever. Runs very nice on MacBook Pro. Also no problem with the SPL Creon and Twisted Wave.

I can testify to the Lexicon Alpha. I use one with my MKH 416 into an ISA One with excellent professional clean results. I prefer it to my Duet Firewire which seemed too warm and woolly.

Huh yes same thing here Scott. Just go to the bottom left and there's the option to download in either wav. or mp3. then you can bring them up in your DAW.
