I've had Yamaha HS50M monitors for about ten years. Love 'em.
And yes, there is low level hiss out of the right one, no matter what cables, interfaces, or computers I've used them with. Have all the ...

While it's always YMMV with these things, I switched from PC to Mac three years ago and bought a new iMac (not with advanced graphics).
REAPER and Source-Connect are rock-solid on it. No crashes.

I use a Rode PSA-1 with my Rode NTG3.

I'm ALL RODE. NTG3, NT1, Procaster. I don't use their interface, but maybe I should, heheheh.

The PSA-1 works great with the Procaster, which is heavy as a ...

Everything works great, including Source-Connect and Opus Codec connections.

Also, everything LOOKS better. More legible/ ...

Thanks Frank!

I watched some comparison videos of the Cloudlifter and the FET Head.
This is what I saw that made me go with the FET Head:

The Cloudlifter was 'smoother' sounding, especially in ...

Hi Adam,
I got the SSL2 last month and it's extremely good for the money.
The plugin strip that comes with it can do all the processing you need, but it probably doesn't work on Windows 7. This is ...

To all the mics I've loved before...

Really liked my old CAD E100s but it got noisy after four years.
Same thing with my Studio Projects CS5, after about three years.

Right now, I'm all-Rode ...
