I thought the OC18 sounded really bad. It is very harsh. Especially with his ch and h sounds. And the sibilance...gross.

I record everything at 48 kHz/24 bit. Most jobs require aiff or WAV files at those same settings (completely uncompressed), though a good 30% or so are fine with high-quality mp3s (48/24 at 320 kbps). ...
