I used a U87 for years in a studio where I worked. It's a mid forward sounding mic that works on most people, b ...

Great film. Mike, you should see LOVE AND MERCY, the Brian Wilson story. Excellent, and The Wrecking Crew is part of that film too.

I've worked in the golf business at a high end club, still do.

Lee's recommendation on attending Chamber functions is a go ...

TLM102 solid and smooth.

Harlan Hogan mic surprisingly decent.

Thanks for the test George.

All samples posted sound boomy & bassy with poor articulation, not you the mic/space.

If I was producing your stuff, I would have to do a big bass roll-off, and pump up the highs from 5k-12k. ...

Yep. You can buy, used, AA 1.5. Put it on as many computers as you want, and use it as long as you like. It'll do everything you need.

Make sure you get the registration code with your purchase. ...

In a bigger room, the CAD would sound very good as is.

The ...

What matters most? Your voice, your communication skills, and your mic technique. The mic itself is not that important.

If and when you start to make real money, buy a Neumann U87 or a Sennheiser ...
